As I sit here, writing and thinking over the last 2 years, I am speechless. When I first started this blog I had no idea where it would take me and how it would fuel my passion. I was making adjustments on my blog a couple nights ago, as I poured over my initial blog posts I had to laugh. I had no idea what I was doing, but I was going for it. This whole journey has been self-taught. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I have branded myself and created something I am proud of.

This is not only a creative outlet for me but one I feel I can make an impact through. It was only a year ago that I shared about my eating disorder and my recovery journey. The outpouring of support still has me amazed. Just 8 months ago I shared about our miscarriage and again was accepted with arms wide open. Sharing about these personal journeys has not only freed me and helped me to listen to the Lord more intently but to also help women along the same journey overcome their sorrows.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every one of you! To those who have traveled from the very beginning, rocky as the ride may have been. To those who joined  along part of the way through. To those who may have just started this journey with me. Your support and encouragement are irreplaceable.

I want to say a special thanks to my sweet and supportive husband. To those who are married, you know that marriage isn’t easy. To those who haven’t yet experienced the blessing of marriage, know it has its ups and downs. Our marriage has been one that has taken work, forgiveness, humility, and selflessness. The road isn’t easy. I know I wouldn’t have accomplished as much as I have without Jason and without the triumphs of our marriage. It has been the most fundamental time of building my character. Through every up and down that we walk together, he is my #1 encourager and supporter. He loves to hear me talk about my passions, even when I start talking about HTML codes (nerd alert right here). Thank you honey for loving me and all my crazy ideas. You have helped me more than you know.

Here’s to TWO very successful years of blogging, and here’s to many many many more to come!
