Black Cape: Sheinside | Dress: TJ Maxx $20 (similar here) | Tights: TargetBooties: Nordstrom Rack (similar here) | Earrings: Forever21  | Clutch: My DIYFur Scarf: Stitch Fix (similar here)

This is what I am wearing to our Church's Christmas Eve service. I never get to dress up, this seemed like an appropriate time to. This dress is so soft and was only $20! The blend of black and gold in the material gave just enough sparkle. You know me, I am not shy of sequins, but it's  fun to wear something a little understated.  I am loving black tights with black booties. It's such a classic way to dress up a look for the Winter time and still be on trend. It's typical to wear pumps with a dress, I liked the subtle edge booties brought to this dressy outfit. Hence, why I wore the same combo in the last Holiday look (here).  I am in LOVE with this cape. It is seriously my new favorite piece. You can wear it with jeans, a skirt, or a dress like I have it style here. To elevate the look, especially if you need an extra layer of warmth, you can add a faux fur scarf to the cape. I have this one wrapped around my neck and then have the ends tucked in between the buttons. I wish it was cold enough to wear this faux fur scarf all the time. All of you gals that live in all the seasons...I am extremely jealous. Live it up! PS this is actually the detachable fur from a sweater ;)

Merry Christmas! Jason and I are off to church, picking up Olive Garden to-go, and sitting in front of our tree for dinner. It's our tradition and I happen to love it! PS I have added an email subscription tool so that it's easier you to follow along! In January, I have a very special gift for all of you that you don't want to miss out on. You will only have access to it from the email!   Photos courtesy of Kelly Turla, website coming soon.
