Suede was a huge trend this Fall and is a huge trend this Spring. I love the 70's vibe. Especially with a ponytail, I feel like it doesn't quite get better then that combo! Especially when your ponytail can be full and voluminous. Am I the only one that thinks my ponytail will look amazing but by the time I put the hair tie around my hair it's completely flat?! I have a solution, and it's an easy one!

It's this tool that is called the Perky Pony, you clip it around the hair tie and lay your hair on top of it. It helps to add a small amount of teasing to the hair that will directly lay on top of the Perky Pony, there are grips that will hold your hair in place as well. I found it looked the best with my hair to clip it under all of my hair and then drape my hair around the tool. This created a full look of cascading curls! My hair even covered the awful hair tie too. These come in 4 shades to match your hair color. (stay tuned for a tutorial!)

To finish this look off once I had my perfect pony, I added some blush hues to give this 70's look a more modern feel. The blush tones in my shoes, handbag, earrings, and lips made this entire look complete. I wanted my hair to really stand out with this look, that is why I went with the white blouse.  Plus, there is something so refreshing about a white blouse in the Spring and Summer.

Are you inspired to try this refreshed ponytail style?
