Colorblocking for under $45.
It has been forever and a day since I have shared anything about my thrifted items in my closet. Sometimes the budget only allows for a small amount to go towards new clothes, you work with what you have! I like being creative and thinking outside of the box. I also enjoy a good adventure trying to find a good deal. When I lived in Cali, the goodwills did not impress me with their options. Here in Oregon, they sell Target items with original tags on them. SCORE! These heels were the best $6 I have spent in a long time. You have seen me wear them a lot, I know. They are the target brand ones here but I found them (luck of the draw) for $6! This skirt is another thrifted find. It was tucked away on a bargain rack at a small boutique in SoCal. I loved it, especially for the price tag. The large waistband made it so comfortable. The color was all me, so of course, I had to buy it. Sometimes I justify buying an item that isn't consumable by telling myself it's cheaper than a vanilla latte. Tell me I am not the only one that does this??? This is the first of 5 blog posts I have for you. These are all wrapped up in my favorite Summer trends. I was able to do this photoshoot at The Saguaro Hotel in Palm Springs. It was a colorful dream. I wanted to stay. Maybe someday I will make it back there. For now, you can walk through the hotel with me in the next couple posts. PS Aren't the colored doors spectacular. I don't think Jason would let me paint our door hot pink.
