This Oregon girl forgot what Summer weather can be during June and July. Trying to dress like "Summer" with "Fall" conditions had me scratching my head. The last two months I have been religiously following these 5 tips, I hope they help you during the rainy parts of Summer.
5 SUMMER DRESSING TIPS FOR WHEN IT'S NOT SUNNY
Dress in Summer Colors: If the weather doesn't allow you to wear your Summer cuts, such as tank tops and shorts, wear the colors for Summer. For me, that is lots of white with accents.
Light Layers: To keep you warm when the temperature drops (not significant;y to the point you need thick coats lol), wear a light jacket or blouse like this chambray. This will give you the feeling it's still Summer without the heat.
Light Neutrals: Summer is the perfect time for cognac brown and tans. Fall and Winter are for black shades (well, mostly, I wear black year round!) and dark browns. I will wear an entire outfit of White with pops of tan and cognac for a fresh look when the weather is dreary.
Booties: These shoes will accent all your Summer dresses perfectly but give you the comfort you need when it's a bit chillier and possibly raining outside.
Colorful Lips: I love a good bold lip, especially in the Summer. When the weather isn't cooperating, I will brighten my look for the day with a nice pink lipstick. I am wearing this one but also love this one!
