Why I started using Anti-Aging products | Giveaway

I am in my 20’s and started using anti-aging products. The difference they made for me is unexplainable. If you question if you should be using anti-aging products, please read why you should.

Many of you know that I have struggled with my hair thinning out the last couple years.I am talking about half as much hair now. This has been due to stress, hormones, and really bad water in SoCal. I have been so discouraged because I used to have much thicker and healthier hair. I do use extensions (not in this pictures!) and have really loved how they help create fullness when I style my hair. I don’t always want to use them so I tried to find a product line that would help rebuild my hair.

I discovered the Caviar line by Alterna when I was in California. The Blow Pop Dry Bar used their products. I LOVED how my hair felt after they would style it. After that, I began to do some research about the brand on my own. This is when I found out that these products help to repair your hair the more you use them. I’m saying, the more you use these anti-aging products the better the results you’ll see vs. putting a band-aid over a problem. This is what sold me on these products.

I have been using all 5 of this products religiously since November and wanted to tell you…they work! I styled my hair in these photos without my extensions to show you how much thicker and fuller it has become. The texture is healthier vs crunchy from heat styling. When your husband comments on the change in your hair, you KNOW it’s the real deal.

How do I use these products?

I use the shampoo and conditioner every 4 days. It can make my hair a little greasy if I don’t wash out all the shampoo so be careful. This is the only bad thing I have from this set and it’s only due to user error. I will wash my hair and then condition it. After I rinse out the conditioner, I will clip it up off my back. This is a new trick I have been doing for a month now to help with my back acne. It has completely changed my back. The heavy conditioners soak into our pores and will clog them, especially if you wash your back and then place your newly conditioned locks on top of it. That creamy moisturizer soaks into your pores and clogs them. Please try this trick if you suffer like I do!

When I get out of the shower I will NOT towel dry my hair (this creates breakage and frizz). I place my hair in this microfiber turban ($5 HERE!) for about 20 minutes. This helps to pull the moisture out of your hair so that you don’t have to use your hair dryer as much.

I take my hair out of the turban and spray the Perfect Iron Spray to help protect it from the blow dryer heat. Next, I smooth 2 pumps of the Satin Blow Out cream and 1 pump of the Smoothing Gel in the bottom half of my hair. I DON’T put this in the roots of my hair because this can cause excessive oil buildup but I will use the remainder to smooth the top layer of my hair.

Finally, I blow dry it smooth. It will take me about 5 minutes at this point. My hair will be silky straight and ready to go! I will often sleep on it like this and then style it the next morning. Be on the lookout for my hair styling tutorial for my sleek straight hair!
