Tuscany in Dundee | Black Walnut Inn

What if I told you that you could travel to Italy without a passport? It’s possible, Jason and I did at the Black Walnut Inn.

Traveling to Tuscany without a passport! Beautiful inn and vineyard in Dundee Oregon.

Yes, leaving the country without a passport is impossible but if Tuscany isn’t out of the country than you don’t need your passport. In a little town called Dundee, OR nestles the most GORGEOUS vineyard with the most insane views of the mountains. This little piece of paradise is the Black Walnut Inn.

Jason and I had the pleasure of staying there for our 5 year anniversary. Driving up the gravel road makes you feel like you’re far away from anything in the best way. You round the corner, and there stands the most beautiful Inn I have ever seen.

The Black Walnut Inn

Traveling to Tuscany without a passport! Beautiful inn and vineyard in Dundee Oregon.

Walking from our car through the courtyard was a fountain that made up the only noise you can hear. Off to the right, you could see the rolling hills filled with vineyards and the mountains behind them. It stops you in your tracks.

We stayed in room one and it literally blew our minds. 4 sets of floor to almost ceiling windows gave you a full view of the surroundings. There’s a table that has the wine from the vineyard and wine glasses next to two beautiful chairs to sit and soak in the view. The bed was insane! I am not sure the mattress they have but I need it. The most restful sleep of my life! Plus it was a king and that means I have so much room.

There is a semi private balcony that has the BEST view on the property. You feel like you are sitting in the scenery not just looking at it. You can see the sitting areas below and the cornhole game set up. Have you ever played cornhole? I never have but let me tell you, I am terrible!

Our bathroom had a beautiful jetted tub, rain shower head in a huge tiled shower, and a double sink. The bathroom was so relaxing. I took a bubble bath while watching the sunset out the window. How many times do you get to do that in your life?!

We had a picnic on the balcony in the evening while we watched the stars. The beauty of being out of the city is that there is NO noise and NO city lights. You have no idea how relaxing not having those can be until you experience it.

I went downstairs to grab coffee 1st thing in the morning (they have water and soda available at all times in the main entrance) and Kelsey who helps with the inn made us lattes to have in our room. I felt so spoiled! They were divine! Especially sitting on the balcony taking in the views of the vineyard.

The Black Walnut Inn has their own chef that makes the most amazing farm to table breakfasts, more info HERE. They were so amazing adjusting the menu items for me without dairy. We both had the eggs, canadian bacon, baguette, and the BEST potatoes. I die. They were fried tasty little things that I could live off of and be content forever.

There are 9 rooms here. Each one just as beautifully decorated and relaxing as the other. There are plans to build onto the Inn in the near future! Some of which include a small pool, miniature rooms that stand alone, and so much more. I am excited to go back after the 2nd phase of development!

The Black Walnut Inn was purchased and remodeled this year. It opened its doors earlier this Spring and has been growing since. After staying here, I know why it’s been a destination for so many. Jason and I left refreshed! We are already planning our next visit.

More information on the Inn HERE.

When Tuscany is too far away, this is the place to stay.

Thank you Black Walnut Inn for hosting Jason and I. This review is 100% my own.

Our room is that 2nd-floor windows and balcony! How gorgeous?!
