Travel Guide | Bend Oregon

I went over the mountains and stayed in Bend Oregon last weekend. To say I enjoyed myself would be an extreme understatement. I LOVED the hotel I stayed at to the incredible local food I ate!

Hotel: Riverhouse on the DeschutesI found this hotel listed on Expedia for a killer rate and immediately booked it. PS this is NOT sponsored in any way, I was so impressed with this hotel that I had to share it.When I arrived, they sent me with a little welcome kit for Montana (my beagle if you haven't met her yet!). They had a doggie dish, toy, treats, poop bags, and a cute sign for my door! I was blown away. I have stayed in pet-friendly rooms before but this was by far the BEST I have ever been taken care of.My room was right on the Deschutes River where the patio opened up to the riverbed. If you stay, ask for 1309! I could take Tana right the back door to go the bathroom. Two queen beds, two sinks, HUGE mirrors, and a Keurig. The colors of the room were so calming and welcoming. It was minimalistic in the best way.

I will definitely be returning!

DINNER: Wild Rose ThaiThe line was out the door so you know it's good. This was recommended to me by about 6 people so I had to go here. The inside of the restaurant was so eclectic and chic. Dried roses lined the ceiling, tan tufted backrest lined the outside tables, and the cups and dishes were all different! I was obsessed. Northern Thai is very different then the Thai I am used to eating but the flavors were bold and comforting.BREAKFAST: CHOWI can't have dairy so breakfasts places that can have good options for me are hard to come by. I remembered a friend recommending Chow for breakfast, after realizing they have vegan options, I packed up and left immediately! The wait was about 30 minutes, which is always a good sign. It was in this cute little house with a big patio area in front. They had fresh coffee and a fire going to entertain you before you sat down to eat. I ordered the Pumpkin Vegan pancakes and bacon, it was to die for! Coffee: Sisters Coffee Company On the drive up I stopped in Sisters for my FAVORITE coffee place, Sisters Coffee Company! I bought a mug, obviously, and some amazing coffee to put away! I love walking through downtown Sisters and take in all the shops. I saw a cute little dog shop and had to get Tana a treat! It's a pink donut so she was obviously obsessed ;) Adventured:Pilot Butte state scenic viewpointI visited the summit when I was in grade school so I don't really remember it. I stopped here on Sunday. It's literally 5 minutes away from the main road through Bend. There is a sign in the center that shows you which mountains are which. The views were amazing from the viewpoint.Bend Factory Outlets: I scored some killer deals at Nike!Mill District in Bend: this is the best area in Downtown Bend. All the good restaurants and eateries are here! PS they have a Patagonia store that had me drooling.

I will be returning to Bend Oregon!
