Anyone else LOVE Free People but hate the price tag that comes with it? I have a couple secret tricks that I use to wear Free People look for less! Their pieces are SUCH good quality so it’s worth it to me to work on finding good deals on their pieces.
Why buy Free People:
QUALITY: The price tag may be high if you buy full price, but the quality is insane! I wear my Free People pieces ALL THE TIME and they wear like iron.
STYLE: it’s effortless casual. I LOVE casual on the weekend or after work. These pieces are amazing for that but they also dress up as well! I wear THIS pink sweater with jeans but also my dress pants and heels for work. Hello, depreciation cost is amazing if you can wear it all the time lol!
COMFORT: their items are typically loose fitting which is my jam right now. Loose and able to front tuck, YES!
Where to buy a Free People look for less:
–Macy’s: THIS is my secret weapon. Their Free People items are typically included in the storewide discounts, coupons, and markdowns. Also, have you ever looked at their LAST ACT section? Literally, less expensive than Target. They have these sections (they look overwhelming in the store so be prepared) in store and online HERE. Find all their current Free People items HERE on this page.
–Nordstrom: They are amazing at price matching. When other stores are running sales, they will adjust their price on their items. Free People is one that gets a price match a lot, the best places to be sure you don’t miss a price match is my CURRENT SALES page HERE and online on THIS PAGE. Also, THIS page is a round-up of all the Free People items on sale!
–Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: July-August Anniversary Sale for Nordstrom, typically will have some great Free People pieces up to 40% off that are for the current season. Stay tuned for when I share about that sale. Not sure what the anniversary sale is? THIS POST goes into full detail of it!
–Free People DUH!: Free People has select items that are FP exclusive, meaning you can’t find them anywhere else. Keep an eye on THIS PAGE for when items go on sale. Often times they run special coupon codes that other stores will not!
–Lord & Taylor: is the oldest luxury department store in the US! I love shopping from them, they usually have great coupon codes that work on a lot of brands that don’t typically go on sale. THIS page is all their Free People on sale!
–Shopbop: This is another great online store that carries well-known brands! They have a great sale twice a year which is when I have scored some amazing closet staples on sale. THIS page is all their current Free People selections!
-Marshall’s: They carry Free People in the designer section of their store and in their sale area! Their items are typically what is full price in the other stores for that season. It’s amazing if you can score some items from this area. They can be anywhere from 40% off to 70% off the original price. NOT ONLINE.
–TJ Maxx: Yes, TJ Maxx has an online store! You can’t search by brand though, they are too smart for us lol! I look at the items I’m looking for such as sweater, tops, bottoms, etc.
–Thread Up: This is an online consignment store that sells name brand items. I search at the top of their site for Free People and then any items they are currently selling pops up at the top!
