ABOUT PORTLAND STYLE BLOGGER NICHOLLE
Where do you live?
I just recently moved back to Oregon where both Jason and I grew up. We are now transitioning into life here in the PNW and are in love with being home. I left a piece of my heart in San Diego, I treasure how I was able to grow and change in SoCal. I am excited for all the adventures to come up here!
When and why did you start blogging?
I first started blogging in September of 2013 as a way of documenting my journey as a Fashion Design student. My career took a different turn 6 months into school, I couldn’t be more thankful for that. I am a stylist and use my blog to document my personal style as well as share any tips I know with you all. I grew up in a small town where there was only a WalMart to shop at. To be able to share my style and shopping tips is such a privilege to me, this is something I could have never dreamed of being able to do. I blog because I am passionate. I care deeply about the impact I am able to have.
I have an Associates of Business. I am currently taking a break from school but will finish my Bachelors soon! I am taking a break to be able to settle into life during this transition.
I am the Digital Communications Specialist for a local financial institution where I get the joy of creating content for their social media channels, writing for their website, and telling their story.
Where did you come up with your blog name?
I rarely leave the house with my hair NOT in a topknot. I also rarely have any other earrings in but pearls. I have worn pearls since I was a little girl and wore them all through out my teen years. What can I sat, I have always had a classic streak in me.
Who takes your photos?
My amazing and handsome husband, Jason, takes my photos! I sometimes take them on a tripod but that is the last resort. We are working on our photography, thank you for your patience!
I am also working with an amazing photographer in Salem, OR. Her name is Brianna from
The Modern Sojourner.
