I have finally put together a tutorial on the most request hairstyle to date. This is not as complex as it seems! It takes me a little over 5 minutes to braid this, once you get the hang of it, it will take you no time at all. The key to this look is the pancaking, or spreading out of the braid. You want to gently pull so that you don't loosen up any of your intricate layers or short hair. In this look, I am wearing a couple small 24" hair extensions.  I have two sets of extensions for many reasons. In the Spring and Summer, I keep my hair a couple inches shorter then what it is now. It's so much easier to manage, especially since I have thick hair and can't manage it in the heat all the time. In the Fall and Winter, I let my hair grow out quite a bit. This is when I use my 24" set. It's maybe an inch longer than my natural hair right now and blends perfectly! They allow me to have my long thick braids during the Fall and Winter. During the Spring and Summer, I use my 20" set and they blend perfectly with my length of hair during those seasons. I find it's important to have seasons with your hairstyles just like it's important to have seasons with your clothing!
