Tree Hunting Outfit.
We are headed to get our tree this weekend and I wanted to share one of the best ways to pick out your tree, in a cute but functional outfit. Yes, if you go to a tree lot, you can wear just about anything. Here in Oregon, you go to a tree farm and cut it down yourself so it's fresh. It's really an enjoyable experience, one I have missed the last 4 years while living in SoCal! It's often very cold when you go out tree hunting, so layers of coziness is essential. I would wear this look with my big puffy jacket but you had to see this look without it. The boots are functional because...mud. It's a tree farm. I wear thick socks to keep me warm in these! Accessories are essential, this hat is from Target from the $1 section and the scarf is one from a couple years back but any plaid scarf will do! I LOVED all the pops of red. It made me feel so cheerful, especially for picking out the perfect Christmas tree. My mom says I look like the elf on the shelf, I took it as the best compliment! When you go pick your tree out, have a little fun with your outfit, even if it's functional!
