6 years blogging and I have finally launched my blog consulting to share how to make money in blogs! I want to be able to share the good, the bad, and the answers I have learned along the way with blogging in a very personal way! Just think, it's a coffee date with me.

6 years ago I started this blog, I had NO idea it would take me here as my full time career. The process to get here has not been easy. It began as a way for me to write and document my life through fashion design school. Through the years, I have connected and treasured my T&P Gals. This has been the most amazing community I could have ever had in my life.

Y'all have been there for me during the most challenging times of my life: losing friendships, moving from SoCal, quitting fashion design school, walking my divorce, sharing about surviving domestic abuse, walking the road of anxiety and depression, quitting my full time job, heartache and dating, and EVERY JOY in between.

so what is the big launch?????

The most asked question I get is "how to make money in blogs?". I wish I could sit down and talk with everyone! It truly is the most rewarding but equally the most difficult career choice I have ever chosen. That is why I developed the "Be You, Be You, Be You" Blog Consulting. I want to be able to help you and walk with you in a way I didn't have when I was in your shoes years ago.

WHY "BE YOU, BE YOU, BE YOU":

In April, I was asked to be the first blogger EVER in the nation to speak to a group of Macy's employees. This was such an immense honor that I still have a hard time believing. As I prepared the night before my presentation, the words "BE YOU, BE YOU, BE YOU", kept repeating itself.

As I was speaking, this phrase was consistently woven through. I don't write out my presentations, I write an outline and then let the words come to me as I speak. This was the theme of my presentation and has been my personal mantra ever since. It embodies everything I try to do here on Topknots and Pearls.

At the end of the day, the ONLY thing I have control over and can 100% own is ME. When you are blogging and branding yourself, your biggest strength is to BE YOU, BE YOU, BE YOU. This is why this is the theme of my consultations because it has been the BIGGEST reason I have been successful.
