I cannot get enough of my Dr. Martens Leona Boot. They are a must in your wardrobe. I have worn them in every season, including Summer. Sharing a full review of them as well as some other designers who have similar styles.

How to break in combat boots: I wear thick wool socks and wear them in the house for a couple of days, this helps to create heat in them so they mold to your feet. Also, sometimes I will use a hairdryer (not TOO close to the boots) and heat up my feet in the socks in the combat boots. This makes your feet expand and break in the leather and soles. Once you break them in, they will be SO comfortable. I live in my Fall and Winter. Like, walking miles around Canada in them!

COMFORT: From the get-go, they are so comfy. Some people complain about the stiffness of the leather but truthfully this doesn't bother me. Know they won't feel like a comfy walking shoe right away but once you break them in, you will reach for them all the time because they fit your feet like a glove.

SIZING: I typically wear 8.5 to 9 in shoes so, with Dr. Martens, I always order a 9 because Dr. Martens only have full sizes. This allows room to wear thick socks and keep them loose for a fit or tie them tight.

QUALITY: You cannot replace the quality of Dr. Martens. You will have these for years and years. A blogger friend of mine has had hers for 3 years and they still look great. I feel like Dr. Martens look better after being worn for a season. They are combat boots, let them look a little rough.
